DESIGN AND ART WITH ARTUREL

A collaboration of function and art with German heritage.

Design and Art.

The Bauhaus movement has long been celebrated for its visionary fusion of art, craftsmanship, and functionality. Originating in Germany, this design philosophy has influenced countless creative disciplines with its clean lines, geometric forms, and commitment to both aesthetics and usability. Today, these principles continue to inspire my design, especially in the intersection of sustainability and innovation.

A modern interpretation of this philosophy can be found in the Nordic Bauhaus approach for Arturel, where Bauhaus ideals merge with Scandinavian minimalism and environmental responsibility. Made from 100% recycled PET, with a significant portion sourced from ocean plastics, these panels reflect a growing movement toward responsible material use and sustainable design.

Art is not just about the visual—it influences the experience of a space, shaping its atmosphere and acoustics. Thoughtfully designed elements can provide both tranquility and character, fostering a balance between form and function. By embracing these ideas, the collaboration with Arturel was a great succes.
