The Ticket mirror gets its industrial and modern look from hole perforations around the mirror’s steel frame. A brass detail elegantly covers the mounting hook. The initial idea for the Ticket mirror’s punctured design comes from the original entry tickets in paper that you had to hand over to the usher before entering the Tivoli Gardens. The interiors were designed to create a connection to nature with the focus always being “experience over image.”  The bar, furnished with Hyg Barstools in a subtle olive shade, serves as the aesthetic center of the space; with a sculptural centerpiece meant to invoke a hearth. Hyg Design for Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen, Architect studio Sarah Carpenter & Studio Serenco Restaurant New York, Photographer © Nicole Franzen

In a world that is constantly evolving and melting, the sculptures reflect our desire for beauty and harmony in the midst of change. Blue melting waves like ice out in the ocean – a nod to the way that these sculptures are created by recycling objects and blending colors to form something new and beautiful.

Bit is an aesthetically pleasing, versatile stool with countless possibilities for your home. Use Bit as a pedestal for a floral arrangement, as a side table for a lamp, or as seating for that unexpected dinner guest. The straightforward, utilitarian look contrasts with the pixelated surface made up of small bits of 100% recycled household and industrial plastic. Designed and developed for and with Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen.

The Puff Lamp Collection is a modern and sculptural take on the traditional rice paper lamp, designed with organic and simple principles in mind. The design honors one of the oldest traditions within lamp making in Asia. It was also a trip to Japan that sparked the inspiration for finding the right balance between sculptural playfulness and functional minimalism and resulted in a collection that invites you to arrange different voluminous shapes in a playful matter.

The concept of hygge is all about feeling good – security, warmth and comfort all form part of its DNA, and it is precisely these qualities that provide the template for the Hyg collection. With the new models, the range – and the coziness – further unfolds, and new possibilities arise of creating coherent environments with both dining and lounge areas. Designed with Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen.

The Orient carafe and glass are made of hand-blown colored glass. With a reference to Tivoli’s many oriental details in architecture, materials and colors, the curved design has a familiar and friendly expression. Bring the Tivoli feeling home with design objects by Normann Copenhagen.

No other word in the Danish language has become as internationally celebrated as “hygge”. Hygge is all about feeling good – security, warmth and comfort all form part of its DNA. We have designed an exclusive range, in which soft lines and encircling contours create a cozy and pleasant space, with Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen.

The feeling of hygge is not only linked to the visual experience of the design; it lies in the overall sensuous experience. A lot of effort has gone into sclupting the shape to provide rest and support for the human body, to make it comfortable to sit in, basically. Designed with Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen.

A renowned balloon-shaped Ferris wheel inside the Tivoli Gardens inspired the round shapes of the Balloon vase series, made of hand-blown glass. Elliptic, soft shapes give it a playful and delicate expression. Bring the Tivoli feeling home with design objects by Normann Copenhagen.

The Lolli cups are small playful porcelain cups with colorful striped patterns, reminiscent of candy stripes and lollipops. Differently sized stripes create a lively visual expression, while the shape of the cup ensures stable grip. Bring the Tivoli feeling home with design objects by Normann Copenhagen.

The Path serving boards are playful serving trays made of oak wood that can be put together in numerous ways to create new patterns. The three geometric shapes are derived from the harlequin check seen on the famous Harlequin figure’s costume in Tivoli’s pantomime theatre.
