GLYPTO

The Glypto Table is a quiet centerpiece – both grounded and graceful, designed to bring people together without demanding attention. Its sculptural tabletop draws inspiration from the soft folds of a tablecloth, evoking the feeling of a festive gathering. Subtle wave-like contours add both structure and invitation, encouraging closeness and interaction.

The design balances presence with restraint. With six gently defined edges, the table naturally accommodates small groups, offering space for conversation, drinks, and shared moments. Though visually bold, especially in deep black, its form is considerate – offering stability and elegance without overpowering its setting.

Originally created for the Glyptotek in Copenhagen, the table needed to support a variety of uses across the museum’s 25,000 sqm – from events in classical galleries to gatherings in lush gardens. Its modular construction allows up to 20 tables to be stored in just 1.5 sqm, marrying function with finesse.

At its core, the Glypto Table serves as a calm stage – a reliable podium where people can gather, feel at ease, and let the space around them shine.
