Waiting furniture Main Station Copenhagen– A modular waiting experience designed with Copenhagen Central Station in mind. The station, a hub of constant movement, inspired this piece to reflect the dynamic energy of its surroundings. The goal was to create a design that accommodates different ways of waiting—whether standing, taking a brief rest, or sitting for longer periods.

The modular structure offers flexibility, with an airy, open design that allows for smooth movement without disrupting the flow of the space. Curves in the design are drawn from the station’s bow-shaped architecture, ensuring the furniture fits naturally within its environment.

Color was a key element in achieving harmony with the station’s atmosphere. While some decisions had to be made quickly, the final color choice complements the space, offering warmth and vibrancy. The design balances both comfort and functionality, supporting travelers in various ways.
